I was born as Marieke on May 25th, 1977. This makes me a Gemini (I) born in the year of the Snake.

Online (and on occasion offline) I listen to Lilith.

I hail from a small town in the Netherlands but have also lived in the UK and Australia. I currently call the US home.

I have a husband, PreZ, provider of unconditional love and support over the years.

I have two younger brothers and a cat. All of whom reside in the Netherlands.

I like to read, a LOT. I collect books. I spend way too much time on the computer mainly on IRC and doing various webbased projects. I enjoy watching movies, I'm a sucker for period drama on tv (and period movies) and enjoy watching documentaries. I enjoy listening to music, mostly of the goth, gothic rock, deathrock, darkwave styles. I'm extensively travelled and hope to keep doing that for years to come, though hopefully the travel will more be of the leisurely variety rather than the necessary variety.

I'm still working out what I want to do with my life, though sometimes I entertain notions of trying to pursue something in the webdesign field.
