Updates

Apr 12, 2004:  After having an increasing number of direct/hot-linkers to mostly my fanlisting codes annoy me over the past months, especially some asshats over on some anime forum go-gaiam.com, and noticing 1000 hits for April (12 days in!) from a direct linker on xanga.com, I've finally set up .htaccess to stop allowing direct-linking. If you were direct-linking to my images, here's your clue-by-four. DON'T DIRECT/HOT LINK! It's bandwidth theft, it's rude, it's inconsiderate, and it's bad netiquette.

Silverhawk was nice enough to point me to a site that would generate a .htaccess if I filled in certain fields (exempt domains, redirect url), and PreZ was kind enough to help me figure out how to exempt certain files in order to not screw up some of the button exchanges I have going.

Anyone direct linking to my images will now see this image instead.

Mar 6, 2004:  Haven't been keeping up with the updates blog much :) Updated Jewelfire, gave my fanlisting collective Kink a new layout, and the regular updates across the board for all of the fanlistings. I currently have some non-personal projects lined up, one immediately, and some tentatively.

I want to redesign the main site soon, and incorporate my blog back into the main site. The blog needs to also be transferred from Greymatter to Movable Type, which I'm putting off until I have the design finished.

Nov 26, 2003 :  I fixed up all the layout issues that mysteriously appeared with the Delirium Fanlisting, so that shouldn't be causing any problems anymore.

Nov 23, 2003 :  The Cry Baby FL went live on TFL.org

Nov 5, 2003 :  Finished the Cry Baby fanlisting. All that needs to be done now is to create the database, which will have to wait until PreZ gets home tonight, then it will be submitted to TFL.org.

Oct 18, 2003 :   Uploaded the Mantra site for PreZ, as well as content for Neuromancy.

Oct 15, 2003 :   Adopted the Cry Baby fanlisting. Yay!

Oct 14, 2003 :   Finished all the outstanding fanlistings I had... Cinema Strange, Fishnets, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Dirty Pretty Things, Everything Can Be Beaten and James and the Giant Peach and submitted them to TFL.

Oct 10, 2003 :   Adopted the Brotherhood of the Wolf fanlisting, for which I'm building a new layout.

Oct 5, 2003 :   Approved for the Fishnets fanlisting.

Oct 3, 2003 :   Approved for the James and the Giant Peach and Everything Can Be Beaten fanlistings.

Sep 29, 2003 :   The Bauhaus fanlisting is completed. I've also been approved to make the Cinema Strange fanlisting.

Sep 28, 2003 :   The Sisters of Mercy fanlisting is completed.

Sep 27, 2003 :   The An Ideal Husband, Paperback Hero and Siouxsie and the Banshees fanlistings are completed and submitted to thefanlistings.org for final approval.

Sep 25, 2003 :   Approved to make the Sisters of Mercy and the Bauhaus fanlistings.

Sep 24, 2003 :   Approved to make the Siouxsie and the Banshees fanlisting.

Sep 23, 2003 :   Finished moving the remaining existing fanlistings over to their new homes.

Sep 22, 2003 :   I've been aproved to make fanlistings for the movies Paperback Hero and Dirty Pretty Things, so more new stuff appearing to do and appearing soon.

Sep 20, 2003 :   Moved Kink, my fanlisting collective, to http://fan.silentgarden.net/.

I've also moved the Courtney Crumrin Fanlisting, Death: At Death's Door Fanlisting and the Delirium Fanlisting to their new subdomain homes, not a huge change from where they were, but slightly more organised for me from a site perspective. The Freda Warrington, Storm Constantine, Nightmares & Fairytales and Squee! Fanlistings will follow suit sometime this weekend when I have time.

I've been approved to make the fanlisting for the movie An Ideal Husband, so that'll be appearing soon.

Sep 2, 2003 :   New guestbook layout up.

Sep 2, 2003 :   Nieuwpoort page added, with some information and pictures about the town I grew up in.

Sep 1, 2003 :   New layout up.

Aug 29, 2003 :   Wraeththu.com goes live with the new layout that I designed. I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out.

Aug 25, 2003 :   Started working on the new layout for http://www.wraeththu.com for the site's owner.

Aug 24, 2003 :   The Delirium fanlisting is finished and has been submitted to the fanlistings for final approval.

Aug 22, 2003 :   The Death: At Death's Door and Squee! fanlistings are both up and running and submitted for the fanlistings.org's approval, which shouldn't take too long. Next up a Delirium fanlisting.

Also been working on bermon.net site for my brothers.

Aug 16, 2003 :   Started on the Death: At Death's Door fanlisting. That should be completed sometime later today or Sunday. I've also been approved for a Squee! fanlisting which is upcoming also.

Aug 13, 2003 :   Added screenshots of various projects to the projects section.

Aug 12, 2003 :   Added some new images to the gallery section. I'm pondering a new site layout because I'm kind of sick of this one, plus it's not exactly 30 below at the moment either. I do love the current layout, but I've just seen it long enough.

I was approved to get started on a Death: At Death's Door fanlisting, so that will be the latest project over the coming days/weeks.

Aug 2, 2003 :   The Courtney Crumrin and Nightmares & Fairytales fanlistings have been approved and are now listed with the fanlistings.org.

Aug 1, 2003 :   Finished both the Courtney Crumrin and Nightmares & Fairytales fanlistings that I applied for recently and submitted them to the fanlistings.org for further approval.

July 25, 2003 :   Inserted the scripts into both fanlistings, so they're good to go. Thanks to Pitr for converting the script to work for postgres!

July 18, 2003 :   Added more scanned book covers to the Jewelfire site. Completed the layouts for the Freda Warrington and Storm Constantine fanlistings with the exception of including the scripts.

July 3, 2003 :   Jewelfire, the Freda Warrington fansite is up and running. A few small additions need to be made, like the addition of some more book covers. Some other small updates on various pages like projects.

June 22, 2003 :   Added a splash page back, and added personalised error messages. Finally also some self-promotion by signing up for a few button exchanges and the like.

June 20, 2003 :   Projects, Likes & Domain pages updated.

June 19, 2003 :   Started work on Jewelfire, which will become a Freda Warrington fansite.

May 20, 2003 :   Projects page updated.

April 10, 2003 :  3 Picture folders uploaded. Currently they are unedited but eventually I'll set up a nice gallery page for those and many other pictures.

January 16, 2003 :  The projects, past layout and gallery pages are completed.

January 14, 2003 :  Layout v2 Crystalline launched for the main Silentgarden site.

June 29, 2002 :  The guestbook script was completed and implemented and the last modifications to the site added.

June 28, 2002 :  The main Silentgarden site goes live today with its first layout.

June 26, 2002 :  /verbatim, my journal site, goes live with its first layout.
