12/04/2004 Archived Entry: "Love The Sushi"

Had sushi on Thursday night when Kreestof was here. Yum. It sated the sushi craving I'd been having. Though not for long, never for long.

I wonder if there's a group for sushi addicts. But what am I saying, I don't want to recover from that addiction.

And now I want me some more sushi, but alas, not likely.

Yes, sushi is a Japanese food. It's usually pieces of raw fish with seasoned rice. Though there are also variations with cooked/steamed fish and vegetables as well. You might have seen pictures of sushi, they're small little bitesize pieces of art. A Google image search will probably help find some pictures.

A variation on the sushi theme is sashimi, which is only raw pieces of fish, or churashi which is raw pieces of fish on a loose bed of seasoned rice.
