Layout v2: Damballah. January 2003.

It was inspired by a painting I have of a Voodoo Veve of Damballah, and was the template for the image.

This layout is made completely in XHTML and uses CSS. It is frames and table free, all positioning is CSS based. Images manipulated with PhotoShop 6, brushes my own.

The site has been tested and will work in IE 6+ and NS 7.0. A resolution of 1024x768 or better is preferred.

Opera 6.05 (and also Konqueror) seems to have an issue with the CSS overflow tag, choosing to ignore the 'auto' feature (which should hide excess content and show a scrollbar), and rendering excess text outside the element. It ignores the 'scroll' function also (which specifically tells it to show a scroller in the event of excess text), choosing not to show a scroller at all nor the remainder of the text. So, the longer sections of text will overlap the menu and image in Opera. From what I've read online, Opera 7 is doing better with CSS than previous versions, but I've yet to check that out as it's still in beta I believe.
